We
would like you to meet the youngest member of our family, Teri, whom we tragically
lost in a car accident on April 4, 1993. Teri was just shy of turning 20 yrs old, but was wise beyond her years, & had a heart of
GOLD.
As
a young child, &
throughout her extremely short life, Teri loved people, animals, the outdoors &
all that lived there; bugs, frogs, ducks, lizards, birds...just about any
creature that moved. As a young adult, she loved to dress our Rotties up
in her clothes and they LOVED it!
During the
coarse of her life, & where ever she went, Teri could always entertain herself & everyone around her.
I
especially remember when Teri was a youngster, she loved playing at her Dad's pond, as there were
all kinds of fun things to do; swim, fish & catch frogs & bugs of all
kinds. Also, when we would spend our days on the river day - camping on the sandbars, Teri
would find sticks & make frog or fish *condos*! Only problem was that
Teri would sometimes
forget to let the frogs or fish out of their little condo before
we left! |
|
| Teri was very popular at school, and was nominated for
Homecoming Queen. Teri never thought of school as an
"institution of learning", rather more like a social
organization of which she was a member in very good standing!
Teri had so much artistic talent as well. As a child, Teri would
express her talent in many ways. With her artistic talents, Teri made beautiful pictures in our carpeting & THE best
snow angels ever. Her talents were many, including her special karma with
the animals, doing hair, her drawings & writing.
During her *working years* as a young adult, Teri had several jobs:
she worked at a print shop with
silk-screening, as a waitress, modeling, & as a clerk's helper at a major
supermarket. As Teri got older, I believe
she had pretty much decided to direct her
job
interests towards becoming an E.M.T., just like her friend Aaron.
Just before her accident, Teri told me she was planning to enroll
in school for that career in the fall.
I am CERTAIN she would
have been as great an E.M.T. as her
sister, Julie, is an R.N.

As my sister-in-law, Raella, so perfectly described Teri in a beautiful
remembrance letter to Bob & I... "Teri was so good in the
heart & soul division, that GOD promoted her to Heaven. She must have completed all of her forgiving & loving
lessons with A++'s.
The Angels must have wanted her for their own selfish reasons. If only
we could peek through the window into the hereafter, we might understand more. But,
we will have to keep learning to love & become a
TRUE
SPIRIT, as Teri, before we can join her
& be bathed in her love once again...."
Thank You, Raella, for those
beautiful words. It is NOT easy living with OUT our daughter... but In My heart,
I try to remember that Teri is not gone.. she is just
away.
Teri is now an "Angel Graduate",
&
I am sure, she is very busy above keeping a
watchful eye on all of us down here, as well as welcoming those children & pets who go to
Heaven and to Rainbow Bridge. Please try not to be sad, for Teri is in a much
better place now! We are just so VERY THANKFUL that we were able to share in her life for the short time we were allowed.
We
decided to name our kennel Von Himmel, as it seemed so appropriate, since Teri
is fulfilling our dream of being my partner with the dogs, only Teri assist's us from
ABOVE. You, too, can see Teri in the Stars. We are in So. Calif. From here,
in the summer, just look to the South about 10PM., and you
will see a large, BRIGHT capital *T*
laying on it's side with the
top of the *T* on your right!

Teri, we all miss
you terribly, and pray that
one day, we will be together again. In the meantime, have fun with all of your friends, family, &
furr-friends who are there with
you. Please keep us safe until the time we are once again reunited. We Love and miss You so VERY MUCH. |

Mom,
Bob, your sister Julie, and all of our family.
