Von Himmel Rottweilers feels it is their RESPONSIBILITY to carefully &

thoroughly screen all prospective Rottweiler owners, especially since
Rottweilers are NOT the breed for every person.  Therefore, any prospective
future owner of one of our dogs, regardless of age, must agree to have an UN-
announced IN- HOME  check,  which would not necessarily be done by us
personally, especially if you live out of our area.   Prospective puppy owners must
also agree to give & have personal references checked out, & be willing to
FULLY co-operate with this screening process.   Von Himmel Rottweilers does
not discriminate against race, religion or gender.   We do, however,  take the
responsibility of the proper placement of one of our dogs, very, very seriously.

Should we feel that your home is not up to our standards for safety for
placement of one of  our dogs, we reserve the right to at any time during the
screening process, eliminate you as a potential & prospective owner.   We also
reserve the right to eliminate  you if, anytime during the screening process,  we
receive information that would lead us to believe that you have not been totally
honest with the portrayal of yourself as a person, your job, where you live, or with
what you have told Von Himmel Rottweilers you will be doing regarding the
care of your Rottweiler puppy or adult.

All of our dogs, regardless of age, are sold/placed with a written and signed
contract, which is expected to be honored by both parties.  We prefer to have
people whom are willing to be on a waiting list, should no dogs be available at the
time of your request.   People on the waiting list are given priority with regards to
time, as long as they have checked out in all other aspects and whom
continue to show interest in having one of our puppies by keeping in contact
with us.

A  "Pet HOME" is not the same as a  "PET QUALITY puppy.  A pet

"QUALITY" puppy has some disqualifying fault which prohibits it from being
shown in the AKC, UKC or other conformation show ring.  A PET HOME is
a loving home where the puppy will be a beloved family member but not
necessarily be shown in the AKC, UKC, or other conformation show ring.   This
has been a bit confusing to people in the past, so I wanted to make this very clear.

Because it has been proven that diet can be a contributing factor to hip and
elbow dysplasia, Von Himmel Rottweilers will honor all written health guarantees
provided the Rottweiler is maintained on the raw diet prescribed by the breeder.
It is also the opinion of this breeder that minimal to no vaccinations are also key
to better health for puppies.  We can not guarantee that if you do or do not
vaccinate your puppy, that it might or might not become ill.  We feel very strongly
about building the immune system the natural way, with out giving shots.
We urge you to learn how the immune system works.
Please view Dr. Jean Dodds, DVM 2003 vaccination
protocol which she has researched in great depth.  Please feel free to share this
with your present veterinarian & friends.   Please also check out the Resource
page on Dr. Hebbler's website, www.HealingHope.net.  Dr. Hebbler, DVM,
is my holistic Vet & has a lot of information regarding the immune system.

The above statements are the thoughts & feelings of Von Himmel Rottweilers.
All pet owners must do their own research & be comfortable with any protocol
they choose, be it diet and or vaccinations.  After many years of research, Von
Himmel Rottweilers feels they have made the best choices to give our pets the
best chance for the highest quality of life & good health.  There are no
guarantees in life, but our goal is to breed the healthiest dogs we possibly
can, & we feel that feeding the natural diet dogs were fed LONG before dog
food so conveniently came in a bag,  by giving filtered clean water, & doing
minimal to no vaccinations, we can better strive to meet that goal.  Regardless of
breed, our beloved pets are leaving us way too soon, & we need to step back &
consider the reasons for this.  It is our feeling, that poor water, poor diet, and
OVER vaccinating are key factors in contributing to this deplorable
tragedy.  Cancer & many if not most of the health issues facing our pets today,
were NOT present 25 yrs ago, before dog food came in a bag & the "bandaids"
which were created to fix the problems which accompanied the decline in food
& water quality along with the onset of over-vaccinations.

Von Himmel Rottweilers also feels that holistic / homeopathic veterinary
medicine is the best to use, as it treats the entire body, & does not only treat
the symptoms of the problem.  If you feel the same as we do about wanting to
raise a pet whom will hopefully have a better chance at a longer & healthier life,
we hope you will consider Von Himmel Rottweilers for your next naturally
      reared puppy.

If you do not feel you can make the commitment to feeding a better & more
natural diet (natural to a carnivore) to your pet,  & are not willing to consider that
less IS MORE w/ regards to vaccinations, we do hope that we have at least
succeeded in planting a seed of thought.  Hopefully that seed will grow & begin to
open your mind to the possibility that there are,  although not considered the
"norm":  1)  alternative/ healthier ways to feeding your pet.   2) that over-
vaccinations might not be necessary & can possibly do more long term
harm than good.  3)  that there ARE methods for treating your pet's
medical problems,  should any arise that do not have the side effects
of things like Rimadyll.   We hope you will consider this as some
 "food for thought"!

The health of our dogs has greatly improved & our vet bills have been very
minimal since making these changes.

Please, DO THE RESEARCH & become an ACTIVE ADVOCATE FOR

YOUR PETS.  YOU are THEIR only voice.

Thank you for your time.  With kindest regards,   Randye and Bob De Lorto
