OH,
Ms.
Rose
Bud, one
of
our
very
FIRST
Rotten
kids,
along w/ your sister,
Sassy! Even though you were not |
purchased from a "reputable" breeder, and you were never
shown or
earned an AKC
Championship, you WERE one of |
the
best representations of what a Rottweiler should be.
You had
impeccable
TEMPERAMENT, Confidence, |
Grace
&Intelligence.
After
passing all of your health testing, you had 2 beautiful |
litters,
and were a wonderful Mom. When we almost lost |
you to pyometra
due to the vet's negligence, you took |
Brianna
in as your very own puppy to raise. You did a |
fabulous job
teaching BriannaWHO was in charge & |
who to
respect!

Barrie, Brianna & RoseBud
When Mom's
sheltie, Sheena, went to the Bridge you went |
to watch
over and protect Mom for the next 5 years. |
When Mom got
ill & came to live with us, you came as well. |
When you
arrived back home, it was as if you never left!
I
don't
think I will never forget the look on your face when you |
returned; it
was as if to ask, "what DID you do
to
this
place |
while I was gone? LOOK at all
the "riff raff " that got into |
the
yard!"
You and
Mookie
were
buddies, as well as Brianna. Mookie |
would
lovingly gaze into your eyes, & the two of you acted like |
young school
lovers. You tolerated the hooligan, , |
Ms
EllyeMae, who was just a young &
wild baby |
when you & Mom came back to
live with us.
And you had
to deal with Caesar being a puppy. |
You were so wonderful at teaching
the kids respect! |
We were never so proud of you, as
when vets talked |
of you being
a "Golden
Retriever
in
a Rottweiler suit"!
THANK YOU, Queen Rose, for being
what you were, |
for if it had not been for you
and Sassy, we would not have |
our
wonderful
Rotten
kids
today.
Bone cancer took you from us, way
before it should have, |
but we will never forget the
lessons you taught us about the |
wonderful
Rottweiler breed, about the danger of over |
vaccinating,
benefits of feeding a good diet, and that LESS |
IS so much
MORE to build a good immune system.
I know that
Teri, Peanuts, April & Mookie Man were |
there to
greet
you
at
the
Bridge;
you knew that Mookie |
always had
an eye for "older" women! You and |
Granny
were always buddies and are now once again
reunited.
